What is The Video System?
The Video System is a movie rental service designed specifically for the hotel/motel industry as an alternative to the high-priced on-demand entertainment services. It has been streamlined to be the easiest program of its type to use, and you can use it as a substitute for premium cable services or as an added option to the limited selection and timing of cable. Our first new release was Ghostbusters back in 1986 when we founded The Video System, and we've leased thousands and thousands of movie titles since then. When it comes to your bottom line, other movie services just don’t compare!
Delivery
Your “Video System” is shipped directly to your property via UPS or common carrier. The package includes a fresh, current selection of DVD movies, a return DHL call tag with instructions on how to get your package picked up inside of the box, as well as a printed out current movie inventory for your particular property. You can photo copy this and distribute it amongst the guest rooms at your location if you see fit.
Movie Rotations
Rotating your movies assures that your selection remains fresh by replacing the movies that you find aren’t renting with more current and popular titles. Each month you will receive a package of movies via UPS. You simply take the new movies out of the box and replace them with an equal number of old movies to send back. We pay the freight on rotations within the continental U.S. Additional rotations may be purchased at anytime for a small fee.
Theft & Damage Protection
Our protection policy is very simple. As long as your property hasn’t lost or broken more than 15% of your inventory we will absorb the liability of damaged or stolen movies. In the event you are billed for missing or damaged movies you will be charged $12.00 per movie.
Seasonal Flexibility
This is one of the most exciting reasons to take advantage of The Video System. We give you the ability to increase or decrease the size of your package to fit your seasonal occupancy trends. With 30-day notice you can adjust your package according to the rate chart figures shown below. This is an option other similar services just don’t offer!

Here’s the surprise! The Video System is a less costly and more profitable alternative to the on-demand services that many hotels now offer. Combine the low cost to you of only $4.00 per DVD per month with the seasonal flexibility we provide, and you’ll find that consistently large profits are easily within reach! A typical Pay-Per-View service costs your guests $12 to view a movie, and only a very small portion of that revenue even affects your bottom line. With The Video System, you have the freedom to choose your own rental prices, and since your costs are so low, you can pass on some of the savings to your guests and still make a greater profit!
